Nick Serido, owner of Windsong Tree Trimming, is an ISA certified arborist, musician, and writer based out of Portland, Oregon. Born and raised in New Jersey, Nick was always enamored with the trees of the PNW, dreaming of eventually seeing them with his own eyes.

Nick left New Jersey at 24, spending a year in Alaska before establishing himself in Portland, where he went on to work as a wildland firefighter.

During this time, Nick developed a strong desire to work with trees. He has been honing his skills and knowledge ever since, and has come to find a deep sense of fulfillment through the art of niwaki— the Japanese discipline which focuses on accentuating the beauty of trees in their natural forms.
